In December, Glamour Magazine sent journalist Rachel Snyder, and photographer, Rahdi, to Niger to do a feature story on our American all-female team of doctors. The feature will also include the remarkable stories of the fistula women.

In the male dominated society of Niger, our female doctors set some new standards of thinking! Before the women arrived, the male staff voiced their concern to the Hospital Director about the competency of female surgeons in the O.R. But after a few days of operating, these same Nigerien staff members were congratulating Drs. Glowacki, Hall, Echols and Sleemi! At a meeting of our American team and the Nigerien team, Dr. Ibrahim Sabou, National Hospital Director, openly praised our team!
